It has a NETD of under 40mK (with system sensitivity effectively better), helping it detect small heat differences in fog, rain, and cluttered environments.
3. What is the detection range?
It can detect heat signatures up to around 1750m depending on conditions and target size.
4. What magnification does it offer?
It provides 2.5–20x magnification with digital zoom for closer inspection.
5. How small and portable is it?
It weighs roughly 350g and is genuinely pocket-sized, designed for easy carry during long sessions.
6. How long does the battery last?
Up to around 7 hours using a removable APS3 battery.
7. Does it record video and photos?
Yes, it has built-in recording with internal memory and supports Stream Vision 2 connectivity.
8. Is it weatherproof?
Yes, it’s IPX7 rated, so it can handle heavy rain and harsh outdoor use.
9. What’s the advantage of the 12µm sensor?
It packs more pixels into the same sensor size, giving better perceived detail and smoother target definition than older 17µm systems.
10. Who is this model best for?
It’s ideal for users who want high-resolution thermal performance in a compact, lightweight monocular for fast scanning and general field use.
