How does the dual-battery system work, and can I change batteries in the field?

The scope utilizes a hybrid power system to ensure you don't run out of power during a long hunt. It features a high capacity internal rechargeable battery system, supplemented by a compartment for a single, replaceable external CR123A battery. The device draws power intelligently to provide up to 14 hours of total runtime. While the internal batteries cannot be replaced in the field, you can easily carry spare CR123A batteries to swap out externally without turning off the scope. It can also be powered or charged via a portable power bank using its USB-C port.

What is "Recoil Activated Recording" (RAR) and how does it save memory?

Recoil Activated Recording prevents you from having to manually press "record" right before taking a shot, which can be distracting and a waste of storage. When RAR is turned on, the scope continuously buffers video in the background without saving it. The moment it detects the physical shock of your rifle's recoil, it automatically saves a permanent clip that captures the seconds before, during, and after the shot directly to the generous 64GB built-in memory.

Can this scope handle high recoil calibers?

Yes, it is designed for heavy field use. Built with a rugged, durable metal construction, the Pegasus P435 Pro features a high shock resistance rating of 6000 Joules (handling impacts up to 1,200 g/ms). This ensures it can withstand the heavy recoil of large caliber hunting rifles (such as a .300 Win Mag) without losing zero or risking damage to the internal electronics.

Can someone sitting next to me see what I am looking at?

Yes. The scope features a built in WiFi module that connects directly to your smartphone or tablet via the Pixfra companion app. This allows you to stream a live thermal feed directly to an external screen, making it incredibly useful for a spotting partner to help call shots or coordinate a hunt in real time.

What color palettes does it have, and which ones are best for eye strain?

The scope features 6 color palettes: White Hot, Black Hot, Iron Red, Alarm, Emerald, and Amber.

• White Hot and Black Hot are the standards for quick target detection and identification.

• Alarm specifically highlights the hottest thermal signatures in bright red, making it ideal for rapidly scanning massive open fields.

• Emerald and Amber are designed to be much gentler on the human eye, heavily reducing eye fatigue and protecting your natural night vision during long, multi hour night observations.

Is the Pegasus P435 Pro fully waterproof?

The scope carries an IP67 weatherproof rating. This means it is completely dust tight and fully waterproof against heavy downpours, snow, and even accidental submersion in water (up to 1 meter deep for up to 30 minutes). You can confidently use it in the harshest outdoor hunting environments.

COURIERS

We use DPD , RoyalMail, TNT  and UPS courier services for all our orders whether dispatching to the UK or International. As soon as your order has been dispatched you will receive an email with your unique tracking number. We are unable to add delivery notes to your order regarding safe spaces or neighbour deliveries. If you require this service it can be arranged directly with the courier once the parcel is in their network.

IN-STORE ITEMS

These are items that we have in-stock and will be sent out for delivery as soon as possible. We aim to dispatch all orders within 1-2 working days, but during busy periods dispatch may be delayed by a day or so. PRE-ORDER ITEMS

These are usually items that are going to be out-of-stock for a number of weeks or are in short supply. By purchasing a Pre-Order Item you are in effect paying a deposit for your goods. As soon as the item is back in stock yours will be dispatched within 24 hours where possible. Please see individual product pages for current back-in-stock dates. In rare occasions, these dates can be changed by the manufacturers so we recommend staying in contact with Optics Warehouse depending on the product lead time.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY & TAXES

In addition to the above information If your delivery address is outside of the UK you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Any such additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. You should note that customs policies vary widely from country to country. Optics Warehouse advises each customer to contact their local customs office for further information if they are in any way unsure of local duties or liabilities. Cross border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities which means some packages may be opened and re-sealed.
