DESCRIPTION

RAPID Degreaser is a potent cleaning solution suitable for all firearm types. Its advanced blend of solvents swiftly cuts through carbon deposits, aged grease, and oils, making it perfect for routine maintenance of semi-automatic shotgun pistons, ports, chokes, threads, and more. Notably, its newly developed formula excels in removing stubborn dirt while being gentler on composite and wooden parts compared to traditional cleaners. RAPID DEGREASER offers a faster and more user-friendly cleaning experience, complementing Napier's existing line of gun cleaners and oils.

WHAT'S IN THE BOX

Napier Rapid De-Greaser Spray - 450ml

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION(S)

1. Is it safe to use on wooden or composite stocks?

Yes. Unlike many traditional degreasers that can be overly aggressive, this formula is specifically developed to be much less harmful to composite parts and wooden stocks. However, it is always a good practice to wipe away any excess spray from these surfaces after cleaning.

2. Can I use this for deep cleaning semi-automatic shotguns?

Absolutely. It is specifically designed to cut through the carbon deposits, old grease, and heavy oils that build up in gas ports and pistons, making it ideal for the regular maintenance of semi-automatic firearms.

3. Do I need to apply oil after using this degreaser?

Yes, this is vital. Because the Rapid Degreaser is highly effective at removing all traces of dirt and grease, it will leave the metal completely bare. You must apply a high-quality gun oil (like Napier Gun Oil) immediately after cleaning to protect the metal from corrosion and ensure smooth operation.

4. How can I tell this apart from my other Napier cans?

For safety and convenience, the Rapid Degreaser is packaged in a distinctive, predominantly black can. This high-contrast design helps ensure you don’t accidentally grab it instead of your lubricant or general gun cleaner while at your workbench.

5. What specific parts of the gun is this best for?

While suitable for the whole firearm, it is particularly effective for cleaning "high friction" or "high fouling" areas such as choke threads, ejector pins, and any internal components where old, gummy grease has accumulated.

6. Does it work on carbon buildup or just grease?

It handles both. The blend of solvents is engineered to dissolve stubborn carbon deposits (powder residue) as quickly as it breaks down heavy storage grease or old lubricants.
