D7 (SFP):

Schmidt & Bender 3-12x54 Polar T96 P 2.BE D7 1cm cw ASV H // BDC H Rifle Scope.
What is the primary advantage of the 3–12× magnification range on this scope?
The 3–12× range offers a balance between low‑power situational awareness and higher‑power detail resolution, making it versatile for varied hunting conditions from brush stalking to longer visibility engagements.
What is the total elevation and windage adjustment range?
The elevation turret offers about 100 cm per 100 m of travel (≈25 MOA), while windage provides around ±50 cm per 100 m (≈±12 MOA), covering typical trajectory and drift adjustments needed in field shooting.
How does the illuminated reticle enhance performance?
The illuminated D7 reticle improves aim visibility in low‑light or shadowed conditions by highlighting the reticle centre, making quick shot placement easier at dawn, dusk, or in deep cover.
Why is the D7 reticle chosen for this model, and what does it offer?
The D7 is a second focal plane reticle with ballistic holdover dots and windage markers calibrated for typical hunting distances, letting you use intuitive holds without constant dialing.
What is the light transmission figure of this optic, and why does it matter?
This scope delivers 96 % light transmission, which is exceptionally high and results in brighter, clearer images — particularly beneficial in low‑light shooting scenarios like early morning and dusk.
How does the 54 mm objective lens influence optical performance?
The large 54 mm objective gathers more light than smaller lenses, improving brightness and contrast at high magnifications and in dim lighting, while still maintaining a relatively lean profile for mounting.
What is the purpose of the ASV H / BDC‑H elevation turret?
The ASV H / BDC‑H turret is a ballistic drop compensation design that allows you to quickly dial elevation changes matched to the chosen reticle’s holdover spacing, speeding up engagement at varied ranges.
How does eye relief behave across the magnification range?
Eye relief stays around 90 mm, providing a comfortable and consistent sight picture while also helping prevent scope‑eye contact under recoil.
What is the field of view at minimum and maximum magnification?
At 3× magnification, the field of view is approximately 12.5 m per 100 m, and at 12× it narrows to about 3.1 m per 100 m, balancing situational awareness with detailed aiming.
How does exit pupil size affect performance in low light?
Exit pupil ranges from approximately 12 mm at 3× to 4.5 mm at 12×; a larger exit pupil at low magnification helps maximise perceived brightness and eye comfort in less light.
What environmental conditions can this riflescope withstand?
The scope is waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof, sealed and engineered to maintain optical performance and zero under wet, cold, or rugged field conditions.
What makes Schmidt & Bender glass quality notable?
Schmidt & Bender optics are renowned for precise glass production and coating quality, providing excellent clarity and contrast that outperforms many competitors in similar classes.
What does a single‑turn elevation turret mean in practice?
A single‑turn turret means you won’t cycle through multiple revolutions to reach maximum elevation adjustment; all required elevation travel is within one turn, simplifying tracking and reference.
How does the parallax adjustment benefit use with clip‑on devices?
Side focus adjustment down to 30 m ensures that when using thermal or night vision clip‑on systems, you can focus correctly and eliminate parallax error for sharpened images.
Is there an auto‑off function for the illuminated reticle?
The reticle includes an illumination feature that often incorporates an auto‑off to conserve battery and avoid accidental on states in field conditions.
What discipline or shooting style is this scope ideally suited for?
With its optical quality, BDC‑H turret, and illumination, this scope is particularly suited to hunting in low‑light conditions, precision stalking, and mid‑range ballistic work where visibility and quick adjustments are key.
How should shooters interpret the “1 cm/100 m” turret clicks?
Each click moves the point of impact by 1 cm at 100 m, so counting clicks directly translates into predictable and repeatable adjustments for drop or wind.
What benefit does the 34 mm tube diameter provide?
A 34 mm tube supports a generous internal adjustment range and structural rigidity while still being compatible with common mount systems, aiding repeatable zero and strength.
Does the “Polar” series name have a specific meaning?
The “Polar” designation indicates a series optimized for performance in adverse, variable field conditions, with strong low‑light capability and versatile range.
What warranty coverage accompanies this riflescope?
This optic comes with a 10‑year manufacturer warranty, providing support for defects in materials and workmanship over long-term use.
- 10 year warranty
