DESCRIPTION

** SUPPLIER DISPATCH**

The Nightforce Competition™ now includes ZeroStop™ and Hi-Speed™ adjustments as standard equipment.

The Nightforce Competition 15-55x52 has now been upgraded so elevation and windage turrets give 10 MOA per revolution as opposed to the previous model which will only give 5 MOA per revolution. Which caused confusion especially when the shooter is needing to add more then 5 MOA of wind while he is shooting. In tough competitive situations it made it incredibly easy to loose track of how many MOA you have added on to your scope but now with this improvement of 10 MOA per rotation this problem has been solved.

Two fast, easy-to read windage caps are included with every Nightforce Competition riflescope, so you can tailor the Nightforce Competition™ to your style of shooting.

Nightforce Competition 15-55x52 contains ED glass, for superb color contrast correction and high resolution. A remarkable 92% light transmission, approaching the maximum ever achieved in any riflescope. Fast-focus European-style eyepiece. Just 27.8 ounces in weight—24% lighter than Nightforce 12-42 x 56 Benchrest, and over 20% lighter than our former 12-42 x 56 NXS™ riflescopes.

The list goes on. Side parallax adjustment from 25 yards to infinity. Hi-Speed™ windage and elevation adjustments of .125 MOA, positive and repeatable over a lifetime of use, now standard with ZeroStop.™ Total elevation travel is 55 MOA, total windage 50 MOA. Each rotation provides 10 MOA of adjustment.

The exceptional resolving power of the Nightforce Competition features ED glass, combined with Nightforce lens coatings and uncompromising construction techniques perfected over more than 20 years, means that all of the Nightforce Competition magnification range produces outstanding clarity…not just a portion of it, as is often the case in lesser optics. For the serious competitor, this is one serious riflescope.

Please note: Nightforce recommend the use of a 20-30 MOA tapered base to yield maximum performance from your Nightforce Competition™ riflescope.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION(S)

1. What is the difference between the MIL-C, MIL-XT, and MIL-R reticles?

  • MIL-R: Clean crosshairs with minimalist 0.5 and 1.0 MRAD markings.

  • MIL-C: Features a precise 0.2 MRAD grid and an open-center dot.

  • MIL-XT: A modern "Christmas tree" grid designed for fast windage/elevation holdovers.

2. How do MRAD reticles differ from the MOAR reticle? MRAD (MIL-C, MIL-XT, MIL-R) adjusts in centimeters/meters (0.1 MRAD clicks), while the MOAR reticle utilizes Minutes of Angle (MOA), adjusting in inches/yards (1/4 MOA clicks).

3. Why choose a First Focal Plane (FFP / F1) scope? The reticle grows and shrinks with magnification, meaning your subtensions and holdovers remain 100% accurate at every zoom level.

4. How does the Nightforce ZeroStop system work? It provides a solid mechanical stop at your exact rifle zero, letting you instantly dial back down to baseline without looking at the turrets.

5. Should I choose the ATACR 4-16x42 or the 5-25x56? The 4-16x42 is compact and lightweight, optimized for gas guns and mobile hunting. The 5-25x56 features a larger objective lens and higher zoom for traditional long-range bolt guns.

6. What sets the ATACR 7-35x56 ED F1 apart? It is the ultimate Extreme Long Range (ELR) tool, offering massive 35x magnification, premium ED glass to prevent distortion, and 100 MOA of elevation travel.

7. How rugged are Nightforce ATACR scopes? Built to military specs, they feature heavy-walled aircraft aluminum tubes, waterproof sealing, and are thoroughly shock-tested against heavy recoil and impacts.
