1. How does the "soft" Razorback case compare to a traditional hard flight case?

 The Razorback is designed as a hybrid. While it looks like a soft bag, it contains a "Razor EVA" lateral spine that can withstand a 50kg load. This provides the level of protection you would expect from a hard flight case but with the lighter weight and easier storage of a soft-sided bag.

2. Can I fit a rifle with a large scope and a bipod attached?

Yes. The Razorback range, specifically the scoped rifle models, is designed with extra depth and width to accommodate modern hunting rifles fitted with large "glassware" (scopes), moderators (silencers), and bipods without needing to disassemble your setup

3. Is the case actually waterproof for use in heavy rain?

The outer Lamtec canvas is bonded to a waterproof membrane, and the heavy-duty zips are protected by a "Weather Shield" guard. This ensures that even in heavy rain or mud, your rifle stays dry. Many users even use the case as a temporary shooting mat in wet grass

4. How does the case help prevent rust and corrosion?

Every Razorback case features a dedicated internal pocket designed to hold a Napier VP90 corrosion inhibitor (often included with the bag). This sachet actively protects the metalwork of your firearm from moisture-induced rust while it is stored inside.

5. Is the case comfortable to carry over long distances?

The case features ergonomic "Grip Lock" handles that secure together for a balanced hand-carry. For longer treks, it includes non-slip, padded shoulder straps. However, keep in mind that due to the heavy-duty protective layers, it is slightly heavier than a standard budget gun slip.

6. What makes the zips different from standard gun bags?

Napier uses oversized, "self-healing" heavy-duty zips with 24 teeth per inch. This means they are less likely to snag or break under pressure, and the track is concealed to protect it from scuffs, dirt, and mechanical damage.

7. Does the case come with a warranty?

Yes, Napier is so confident in the Razorback's "tough shell" construction that they provide a 5 year warranty on these cases (ensure you register your warranty card upon purchase). It is built to survive being "thrown in the back of a truck" and regular field use.

COURIERS

We use DPD , RoyalMail, TNT  and UPS courier services for all our orders whether dispatching to the UK or International. As soon as your order has been dispatched you will receive an email with your unique tracking number. We are unable to add delivery notes to your order regarding safe spaces or neighbour deliveries. If you require this service it can be arranged directly with the courier once the parcel is in their network.

IN-STORE ITEMS

These are items that we have in-stock and will be sent out for delivery as soon as possible. We aim to dispatch all orders within 1-2 working days, but during busy periods dispatch may be delayed by a day or so. PRE-ORDER ITEMS

These are usually items that are going to be out-of-stock for a number of weeks or are in short supply. By purchasing a Pre-Order Item you are in effect paying a deposit for your goods. As soon as the item is back in stock yours will be dispatched within 24 hours where possible. Please see individual product pages for current back-in-stock dates. In rare occasions, these dates can be changed by the manufacturers so we recommend staying in contact with Optics Warehouse depending on the product lead time.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY & TAXES

In addition to the above information If your delivery address is outside of the UK you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Any such additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. You should note that customs policies vary widely from country to country. Optics Warehouse advises each customer to contact their local customs office for further information if they are in any way unsure of local duties or liabilities. Cross border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities which means some packages may be opened and re-sealed.

A NOTE ABOUT DPD SHIPMENTS:

• Please be advised that we have now introduced DPD Pins to all DPD orders from Optics Warehouse.
• If your shipment is being sent from Optics Warehouse via DPD you will be sent a Pin Code that must be shown to the courier upon delivery.
• The pincode is sent VIA email & TEXT message. A valid email address and mobile number must be provided at checkout. Emails will be sent from "Riviera House 3PL" - if you do not receive this email please check your junk or spam folders.
• Please note that if you do not display your pin code to the courier driver upon delivery, you will not be able to have your item and you may need to schedule another delivery date to show a valid pin.
