Ring Height 22mm base to ring center

Scope compatibility guidance based on 22mm base to center - please note this is approximate
As a theoretical maximum, a 22mm centre height allows for approximately 44mm objective housing diameter clearance (22mm × 2 = 44mm). In reality, a scope with a 44mm outer diameter would sit directly against the rifle or rail, so a practical absolute maximum would be closer to 43mm.
However, this calculation assumes the objective bell is positioned directly over a flat receiver or rail. On many rifles, the objective extends forward beyond the receiver and sits above the barrel, where additional clearance is often available.
For rifles with a flat receiver and where the objective sits directly above the rail, we would recommend an objective housing diameter of around 32mm maximum for comfortable clearance.
If the objective bell extends beyond the receiver and overhangs the barrel, significantly larger objective housings may be accommodated depending on the rifle and scope combination.
Important:
Always measure the OUTSIDE diameter of the objective housing (objective bell), not the advertised lens size. Two scopes with the same lens size can have very different outer diameters due to wall thickness, adjustable objective mechanisms, illumination systems and overall scope design.
If in doubt, measure your scope's objective housing and compare it with your rifle's available clearance before ordering.

Q: Will these fit my scope?
A: They fit scopes with a 1" (25.4mm) main tube diameter only.
Q: Will these fit a Picatinny rail?
A: Yes, they are designed for both Picatinny and Weaver rails.
Q: Will these fit a standard 9-11mm airgun dovetail rail?
A: No. These mounts are for Weaver/Picatinny rails. A suitable rail adapter would be required.
Q: Are these quick-release mounts?
A: Yes. They feature lever-operated quick-release clamps for tool-free removal and refitting.
Q: Are they steel or aluminium?
A: These mounts are manufactured from solid steel for increased strength and durability.
Q: What height are they?
A: This is the Medium version, offering more objective bell clearance than low mounts while maintaining a practical sight height.
Q: How many rings are included?
A: One complete pair (2-piece mount set) is included.
Q: Will removing and refitting affect zero?
A: Quick-release mounts are designed to return close to zero when refitted correctly, although checking zero after removal is always recommended.
Q: What size scope objective will these mounts fit?
A: There is no single objective lens size that these mounts are guaranteed to fit. Compatibility depends on the OUTSIDE diameter of the objective housing (bell), not the advertised lens size. With a 22mm base-to-ring centre height, the theoretical maximum objective housing diameter is approximately 44mm, although this would leave little to no clearance. For scopes positioned directly over a flat receiver or rail, we would recommend around maxiumum 43mm outer objective diameter for comfortable clearance. Larger objective housings may fit where the scope extends forward and overhangs the barrel. We recommend measuring your scope's outer objective housing diameter and comparing it to your rifle's available clearance before ordering.

Please note: All clearance calculations are based on mounts with 0 MOA. While MOA can be factored in, actual clearance may vary due to variables that can't always be accurately calculated. If you're considering an MOA mount and are unsure about the required height, we recommend contacting our sales team directly.
Measure the outermost diameter of your scope’s objective bell (including any flare).
Measure the thickness of any scope cover if used. If none, leave as 0.
Measure from the top of the rail to the highest point of the barrel.
We add a little extra clearance to account for real-world variation. Default is +1 mm.
Enter your measurements above to calculate the lowest ring height (base-to-centre) you can realistically use.
(A + 2×B) / 2 − C + TWhere A = objective outer diameter, B = cover thickness, C = rail-to-barrel clearance, T = tolerance.
