The Hawke Frontier 30 SF 4-24x50 IR SFP MIL PRO Zero Lock Rifle Scope is engineered for supreme accuracy in rifle shooting, driven hunts, and long-range applications. Featuring Hawke’s advanced H7 optics, it delivers a high zoom ratio with exceptional clarity and light transmission through 21-layer fully multi-coated lenses and low dispersion Crown glass. The robust 30mm mono-tube chassis provides durability, while a generous 100mm eye relief and a wide-angle field of view ranging from 9.4 to 1.6 metres at 100 metres ensure comfortable and precise targeting.

Equipped with the patented Zero Lock ‘n’ Stop elevation turret, the scope guarantees secure and repeatable elevation adjustments in precise 1/10 MRAD clicks. The side focus parallax adjustment sharpens the image from 15 yards to infinity, allowing for error-free targeting at all distances. The illuminated Mil Pro (20x) reticle offers accurate mil spacing with half and quarter mil brackets, extending out to 8 mils of holdover, ideal for extreme long-range shooting. RETICLE

Mil Pro (20×) Reticle:

Accurate mil spacing on 20× magnification. With half Mil spaced markings extending out to 8 Mil of holdover, the Mil Pro (20×) is a versatile reticle that provides aim points no matter how extreme the distance.

All reticle measurements are Mil spaced and offer 1 Mil, 0.5 Mil and 0.25 Mil brackets for range finding. Every second Mil spacing on the lower section is numbered to ensure the quick and easy acquisition of target and ease of reference.

Each cross has a see-through gap, allowing an unobstructed view of the target. The thick outer posts are hollowed to ensure they can be seen at all magnifications, without blocking out too much of the view.

Mil Pro 20× models have additional 1⁄4 Mil aim points on the centre section of the reticle to give even greater precision.

When on 20× magnification, the Mil spaced reticle and 1⁄10 MRAD turrets make for an easy point of aim adjustment. Every 10 clicks on the turret will measure exactly 1 Mil spacing on the reticle, also known as 1 MRAD.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION(S)

What is the difference between First Focal Plane (FFP) and Second Focal Plane (SFP)?

First Focal Plane (FFP): The reticle grows and shrinks proportionally as you change magnification. This means the hashmarks (holdovers) mean the exact same distance whether you are at 3x or 18x power, allowing for fast holdovers at any setting.
Second Focal Plane (SFP): The reticle stays the exact same size regardless of your zoom level. This keeps the crosshairs thin and easy to see, but your holdover markings are only mathematically accurate at one specific magnification setting (usually the maximum power).

What does the "Zero Lock" system do on the turrets?

The Zero Lock feature prevents accidental turret rotation when you are moving through heavy brush or handling your rifle. Once you have sighted in your rifle and locked down your "zero," the turret mechanically stops from turning further downward and locks securely in place. To make an adjustment, you simply push down or unlock the turret to dial your correction, ensuring you never accidentally lose your baseline setting.

Why do some Frontier models use a 34mm tube while others use a 30mm tube?

A larger 34mm main tube provides increased internal housing space for the lenses and mechanical components. This allows the scope to have a significantly wider range of internal elevation and windage adjustments, which is vital for long-range shooters who need to dial heavily for bullet drop at extreme distances. A 30mm tube is lighter and sleeker, making it ideal for standard hunting and mid-range tactical configurations.

What is the purpose of "Side Focus" (SF)?

Side Focus is a control knob located opposite the windage turret that corrects for parallax error—a subtle optical misalignment where the reticle and target don't sit on the exact same focal plane. Adjusting the Side Focus ensures that your target remains perfectly sharp and your point of aim doesn't shift if you move your eye slightly off-center behind the scope.

Are Hawke Frontier rifle scopes suitable for high-recoil rifles?

Absolutely. The entire Frontier lineup is constructed using a high-grade, single-piece aluminum mono-tube chassis. We use DPD , RoyalMail, TNT and UPS courier services for all our orders whether dispatching to the UK or International. As soon as your order has been dispatched you will receive an email with your unique tracking number. We are unable to add delivery notes to your order regarding safe spaces or neighbour deliveries. If you require this service it can be arranged directly with the courier once the parcel is in their network.

These are items that we have in-stock and will be sent out for delivery as soon as possible. These are usually items that are going to be out-of-stock for a number of weeks or are in short supply. By purchasing a Pre-Order Item you are in effect paying a deposit for your goods. INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY & TAXES

In addition to the above information If your delivery address is outside of the UK you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Any such additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. You should note that customs policies vary widely from country to country. Cross border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities which means some packages may be opened and re-sealed.
