The Caldwell Matrix Shooting Rest is basically a budget-friendly but surprisingly capable all-in-one rifle rest that works as both a front-only support or a full-length rest depending on how you set it up. It uses a rigid U-channel sliding frame so you can adjust the length to fit different rifles, from AR-style setups to bolt guns, and it stays fairly solid once locked in. The front cradle has a spring-loaded elevation system so you can adjust height quickly with one hand instead of messing around with stacking bags, and the contact points are overmoulded so they don’t scratch your rifle but still hold it firmly. It also has a small storage compartment built into the base and can be split down to save space when transporting it. It’s not a heavy competition-grade benchrest system, but for range work and zeroing rifles, it’s one of Caldwell’s most popular “do-it-all” options.

The highly versatile Matrix combines great new features and rock solid stability in an affordable rest. Central to the design is the innovative, ultra rigid U-channel frame, quickly adjusting in length for the perfect fit with any gun while remaining perfectly stable. The two piece sliding frame incorporates an open central channel with plenty of clearance for hi-capacity detachable magazines as well as lever action guns.

FEATURES

A convenient storage area incorporated into the front of the base features a removable lid that adds additional clearance when detached but also doubles as a rubberized rear support surface for firing handguns when left in place.

Another key feature is the all new innovative front elevation system. A spring loaded tension mechanism and height adjustment knob allow for fast, one handed elevation adjustments, keeping the front cradle wobble free throughout the entire vertical range.

Overmolded front and rear supports protect the guns finish but are firm enough to prevent any give or play.

Shooters will also enjoy the versatility of converting the Matrix into a compact front rest be removing the rear portion of the frame. Whether used a s a front rest or as a full length rest the Matrix provides stability that will deliver maximum accuracy potential.

We use DPD , RoyalMail, TNT and UPS courier services for all our orders whether dispatching to the UK or International. As soon as your order has been dispatched you will receive an email with your unique tracking number. We are unable to add delivery notes to your order regarding safe spaces or neighbour deliveries. If you require this service it can be arranged directly with the courier once the parcel is in their network.

IN-STORE ITEMS

These are items that we have in-stock and will be sent out for delivery as soon as possible. We aim to dispatch all orders within 1-2 working days, but during busy periods dispatch may be delayed by a day or so. PRE-ORDER ITEMS

These are usually items that are going to be out-of-stock for a number of weeks or are in short supply. By purchasing a Pre-Order Item you are in effect paying a deposit for your goods. In rare occasions, these dates can be changed by the manufacturers so we recommend staying in contact with Optics Warehouse depending on the product lead time.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY & TAXES

In addition to the above information If your delivery address is outside of the UK you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Any such additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. You should note that customs policies vary widely from country to country. Optics Warehouse advises each customer to contact their local customs office for further information if they are in any way unsure of local duties or liabilities. Cross border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities which means some packages may be opened and re-sealed.
