Each Pulsar Axion XQ35 comes in a super high quality reinforced magnesium and alloy house which is designed for hard continuous use.
At the heart of the Pulsar Axion 2 LRF XQ35 is the highly sensitive European Lynred 384x288 17 µm thermal imaging sensor, combined with a powerful Germanium F35/1.0 objective lens, provides an impressive 1300m detection range of a standard 1.8m object in total darkness, even under difficult conditions such as fog, rain, and high levels of humidity.
One component of the device that has seen a great improvement when you look back at the previous Axion housing and component list is the new fast aperture lens system. The Pulsar Axion XQ35 LRF features a F35 1.0 Germanium lens which means the 384x288 thermal sensor of the Pulsar Axion XQ35 will now have a greater ability to receive as much thermal information through its front lens which ultimately helps provide the user with a better image and ability to identify their target. This new F35 1.0 lens features high infrared transmission in the LWIR range. The Pulsar Axion 2 XQ35 LRF 384x288 provides the user with three levels of signal amplification in combination with a system smoothing filter which includes a fine brightness and contrast adjustments.
The built-in precision laser rangefinder offers a range of up to 1000m, allowing the user to accurately measure distances in a single measurement and continuous scanning modes with an accuracy of ± 1 meters. This allows the user to quickly and accurately make error-free assessments within the observation area.

The Pulsar Axion XQ now comes with a high capacity Pulsar APS5 rechargeable battery that will provide 7 hours of continuous use even off a single charge. The Pulsar Axion 2 LRF XQ35 will complement the standard smartphone 2.4 GHz WiFi frequency range with an effective 5 GHz connection range, vastly improving the bandwidth and connection stability, as well as providing a faster rate of data transfer and noise immunity, all for more a more reliable operation of thermal imager and smartphone.
The base magnification of this thermal monocular increases by four times at 2x - 8x, with a zoom that can change either by 2x steps or continuously, allowing the user to set the ideal magnification ratio and visible field of view to suit any situation.
8 colour palettes are visible to the user on the new AMOLED display which features a high contrast VGA resolition which give enhanced colour rendering and helps provide a clear and smooth picture while on the move. The Pulsar Axion XQ35 LRF comes with Picture in Picture (PiP) mode allowing the user to display a zoomed-in zeroing frame at the top of the display, in which the observation area can be magnified by x2 or x4, whilst simultaneously retaining visual control over the entire field of view.
The Pulsar Axion 2 XQ35 LRF has the ability to record and take photos thanks to its in built video recorder. The unit has an internal memory that can store hours of video and tens of thousands of photos. If you do wish to free up the devices memory though you are supported with a free 16 GB cloud space.

High-quality reinforced magnesium alloy housing
Axion is designed for constant, often hard use. A magnesium alloy housing is light and strong at the same time. The housing reliably protects the internal components of a thermal imaging device from shocks, drops, moisture, heat or cold. At the same time, a metal housing effectively removes the heat from electronics, minimizes image noise and increases the consistency of the device operation during long-term observation.

Extended battery life. Up to 11 hours on a single charge
A high-capacity APS5 rechargeable battery provides up to 11 hours of continuous operation of the thermal imaging device on a single charge. The battery is removed from a battery housing and replaced with a new one in seconds. The battery is charged in a special charger or inside the device from a PC, household power system or power bank via USB-C. The same sources are used for the external power supply of a thermal imaging device.
