Reducing ring to be used with Rusan universal clamping adapter ARM52 (thread M52x0.75)
There are few problems with oculars on the rifle scopes:
- diameters of oculars are very strange (not round numbers)
- there are many different diameters among all rifle scopes on the market
- it is hard to find information about these diameters
- on many rifle scopes on the ocular part there is a rubber ring that is bigger than ocular part (metal) itself
The best solution would be to produce plastic inserts (bushings), from two parts, in many sizes.
This would be too complicated for dealers and for end-users, so we advise using some kind of tape and put it on the objective. Then use Rusan adapter (ARM52-xx) in appropriate/available size.
This reducing ring MUST be combined with a clamping adapter. Alone it is not enough to connect NV007 to a rifle scope.
1. What is the purpose of this reducing ring?
The Rusan Reducing Ring for Pard NV007 (to M52×0.75) adapts the PARD NV007’s mounting to an M52×0.75 threaded interface, enabling compatibility with Rusan Q‑R adapters and other mounts that use that thread size.
2. Which night‑vision device is this ring designed for?
It is specifically designed for the PARD NV007 Digital Night Vision Scope and its compatible variants.
3. What thread size does this reducing ring adapt to?
The ring adapts the NV007 interface to an M52×0.75 threaded connection used by many Rusan mounting systems.
4. What material is the ring made from?
It is manufactured from high‑grade steel for strength, durability, and resistance to recoil effects.
5. Is this ring compatible with quick‑release adapters?
Yes — when paired with a compatible Rusan Q‑R quick‑release adapter, this reducing ring allows tool‑free mounting and removal of the NV007.
6. Can this reducing ring be used alone?
No. The reducing ring must be used in conjunction with an appropriate Rusan adapter or mount that interfaces to the M52×0.75 thread.
7. Does this ring maintain alignment when mounting the NV007?
Yes — the precision threads and tight tolerances help ensure consistent alignment and secure positioning.
8. Is this reducing ring suitable for high‑recoil rifles?
Yes — the steel construction provides a stable, recoil‑resistant connection when properly paired with compatible mounts.
9. Will this ring work with other night‑vision models?
It is specifically engineered for the PARD NV007, and compatibility with other devices is not guaranteed.
10. Why choose a Rusan reducing ring?
Rusan products are known for precision engineering, reliable fitment, and durable construction, making them a trusted choice for securely mounting night‑vision systems.
