The RCBS Summit Single Stage Reloading Press is built like a tank and designed for reloaders who care more about precision than speed. Instead of the case moving up into the die like a normal press, the die comes down onto a fixed case, giving you a super stable, easy-to-control setup. It’s heavy-duty, smooth, and perfect if you want tight, repeatable ammo without your bench flexing or wobbling around.

DESCRIPTION

The RCBS Summit Single Stage Reloading Press is the result of decades of research, manufacturing excellence and real-world handloading experience, brought together to create a truly rock-solid precision reloading press. Designed from the ground up, the Summit delivers exceptional consistency and accuracy, making it a standout choice for discerning reloaders who demand absolute control over every stage of the process.

At the heart of the press is a massive 2-inch diameter solid steel ram, polished to a mirror finish for an exceptionally smooth and precise operating cycle. Unlike conventional presses, the case remains stationary while the die is lowered onto it, enhancing alignment and repeatability. The press body is machined from cast iron with robust steel linkage, ensuring outstanding strength, rigidity and long-term durability.

The innovative open C-frame design with a 4.5-inch opening provides unrestricted frontal access to the case, making setup and operation effortless. With no linkage below the press, the Summit can be mounted anywhere on your bench, offering unrivalled flexibility in bench layout. Compatible with standard 7/8"-14 dies, or 1-1/4"-12 dies with the reducing bushing removed, the Summit also features an ambidextrous design and an integrated zerk fitting for easy lubrication and smooth, consistent performance over time.

WHAT'S IN THE BOX

RCBS Summit Single Stage Reloading Press

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION(S)

1. What is the RCBS Summit Single Stage Reloading Press used for?
It’s a precision single-stage reloading press used for resizing, decapping, seating, and other rifle and pistol cartridge reloading operations.

2. How is the Summit press different from a traditional press?
Unlike standard presses where the case moves into the die, the Summit holds the case stationary while the die is lowered onto it.

3. Is the RCBS Summit a single-stage press?
Yes, it’s a heavy-duty single-stage press designed for precise, step-by-step reloading rather than high-speed production.

4. What materials is it made from?
It uses a cast iron frame with steel linkage and a polished solid steel ram for strength and smooth operation.

5. What calibres can it handle?
It supports a wide range of rifle and pistol calibres as long as they fit standard 7/8"-14 threaded dies.

6. Is the Summit press stable during heavy resizing?
Yes, its rigid construction and large 2-inch ram are designed to minimise flex and maintain consistent alignment under load.

7. Can both left- and right-handed users use it?
Yes, the design is fully ambidextrous so it can be comfortably used from either side of the bench.

8. Does it take standard dies?
Yes, it works with standard 7/8"-14 dies and can also accept larger die bodies with a bushing removed.

9. Is it good for beginners?
Yes, but it’s especially popular with reloaders who want precision and consistency rather than fast production output.

10. Why choose the Summit over a cheaper press?
Because it offers much higher rigidity, smoother operation, and better access, which helps produce more consistent and repeatable ammunition over time.
