RCBS Rebel Reloading Press
The RCBS Rebel Reloading Press is basically the “overbuilt on purpose” single-stage press for reloaders who want strength and zero flex at the bench. It’s heavier than the Rock Chucker and built around a rigid cast iron frame, so sizing tough brass feels smooth instead of sketchy or springy. If you want a press that just sits there rock solid and does everything from small calibres up to magnums without complaining, this is that kind of tool.

The RCBS Rebel Reloading Press represents the next evolution in single stage press design, built for reloaders who demand absolute strength, precision and longevity. Machined from tough-as-nails cast iron, the Rebel features a heavy-duty frame that is 22% heavier than the Rock Chucker Supreme, delivering exceptional rigidity and confidence when working with the toughest brass.
Designed with stability and usability in mind, the Rebel benefits from a wide base for enhanced bench stability and the tallest opening of any RCBS single stage press, allowing greater clearance for larger cases and more comfortable operation. Every critical surface is precision machined to extremely tight tolerances, ensuring smooth, consistent performance and repeatable results.
Clean operation is achieved through the bottom-of-ram primer ejection system, which directs spent primers straight into a bin or bucket, keeping your bench tidy during decapping. Outstanding leverage comes from the long handle and central-pivot design, making case sizing effortless, while the ambidextrous handle mounting allows flexible bench setups for left- or right-handed users.
Maintenance is simple thanks to the integrated grease zerk fitting, helping keep the press running smoothly and protecting your investment over the long term.
Since 1943, RCBS has been synonymous with quality, precision and toughness in handloading equipment. The Rebel Press continues that legacy, offering a state-of-the-art single stage press designed for reloaders who refuse to compromise.

- RCBS Rebel Reloading Press
1. What is the RCBS Rebel Reloading Press?
It’s a heavy-duty single-stage reloading press designed for precise rifle and pistol ammunition reloading with maximum rigidity and durability.
2. How is it different from the RCBS Rock Chucker?
The Rebel is about 22% heavier, has a wider base, and a taller opening for longer cartridges, making it more rigid and versatile.
3. What materials is it made from?
It’s constructed from solid cast iron and steel components for strength and long-term durability.
4. What calibres can it handle?
It supports a wide range from small rifle calibres like .17 up to large magnum cartridges, as long as they use standard 7/8"-14 dies.
5. Does it flex during resizing?
No, the O-frame design is engineered to eliminate frame flex, improving consistency during heavy sizing operations.
6. Is it suitable for beginners?
Yes, it’s straightforward to use, but it’s especially valued by reloaders who want long-term durability and precision rather than speed.
7. Does it have on-press priming?
No, priming is typically done off-press, with spent primers ejected through the ram system.
8. How are spent primers handled?
They are ejected down through the ram, helping keep the bench cleaner during decapping.
9. Is maintenance easy?
Yes, it includes a grease zerk fitting so you can lubricate moving parts easily for smooth operation.
10. Why choose the Rebel over cheaper presses?
Because it offers significantly higher rigidity, smoother operation, and better alignment, which helps produce more consistent and repeatable ammunition over time.
