DESCRIPTION

The RCBS Partner Reloading Press is an easy-to-use, durable and highly affordable entry point into handloading, making it ideal for the budget-conscious beginner or as a dependable second press for specific operations. Compact and lightweight, it offers excellent versatility without sacrificing performance, whether used on the bench or taken out to the range.

Built around a small O-frame design, the Partner Press provides excellent access and visibility, while the die-cast aluminium frame keeps overall weight low without compromising strength. A 4" operating window combined with a 3.5" stroke allows smooth, efficient operation across a wide range of reloading tasks, all within a compact footprint.

Designed specifically for new reloaders, the Partner Press can handle rifle and pistol cartridges from magnums down to .17 calibre. Thanks to the patented RCBS compound leverage system and block O-frame construction, full-length sizing can be achieved with noticeably less effort. A standard 7/8-14 top thread ensures compatibility with a wide range of RCBS accessories, while the swing-out primer arm with interchangeable large and small primer plugs adds further convenience when seating primers.

WHAT'S IN THE BOX

RCBS Partner Reloading Press

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION(S)

1. What is the RCBS Partner Reloading Press used for?
It’s a compact single-stage reloading press used for basic reloading tasks like resizing, decapping, and bullet seating for rifle and pistol cartridges.

2. Is the Partner Press good for beginners?
Yes, it’s designed specifically as an affordable, easy-to-use entry-level press for new reloaders.

3. What materials is it made from?
It uses a die-cast aluminium frame with steel linkage parts, making it lightweight but still durable for normal reloading use.

4. What calibres can it handle?
It can reload most standard rifle and pistol cartridges, from small calibres like .17 up to common magnums, depending on setup.

5. Is it strong enough for rifle case sizing?
Yes, it has a compound leverage system that helps with full-length sizing of most common rifle cases, though it’s less rigid than heavier presses.

6. Can it be used as a portable press?
Yes, its lightweight and compact design makes it suitable for transport or range-side loading setups.

7. Does it include priming capability?
Yes, it has a built-in priming arm so you don’t necessarily need a separate priming tool.

Yes, it accepts standard 7/8"-14 threaded dies, so it works with most major die brands.

9. Is it as strong as a Rock Chucker or Rebel press?
No, it’s smaller and less rigid, so heavy-duty or high-volume reloaders usually upgrade to stronger cast iron presses.

10. Why would someone choose this over a bigger press?
Because it’s cheap, compact, and easy to store or transport—ideal for beginners or as a second dedicated setup for light reloading tasks.
