The Leofoto LSR-284C Carbon Fibre Tripod Kit paired with the LH-30 Screw-Knob Ball Head is a compact, high-performance support system built for professional photographers and filmmakers who demand reliability, portability, and precision. Standing tall at 1380mm when fully extended yet folding down to just 555mm, this 4-section tripod strikes the perfect balance between reach and packability. Its no-column design not only enhances stability but also reduces weight and folded size, making it ideal for travel and on-location shoots.

Crafted from Toray 100% 10-layer carbon fibre, the legs feature a cross rhombus structure for superior strength and reduced vibration. The leg diameters taper from 28mm to 19mm, and combined with the 6061-T6 aluminium alloy spider, they deliver outstanding durability without sacrificing portability. At only 1.6kg, the tripod supports a robust 10kg load capacity, perfect for professional DSLR and mirrorless camera setups.

The tripod is engineered to endure extreme environments, functioning reliably in temperatures from -20°C to 40°C, thanks to Nichimoly-brand Japanese lubricants and NSK bearings, known for their precision and longevity. Each component is expertly assembled using SUS 304 stainless steel and CNC-machined aluminium, ensuring rock-solid performance.

Usability is elevated through features like the semi-automatic angle stops, which allow for quick, secure leg positioning. The hollow-out spider design reduces weight while maintaining structural integrity, and the included rubber and spiked feet can be swapped to suit a variety of terrains. UNC 1/4" and 3/8" threads offer compatibility with accessories and weight hooks, enhancing versatility on set.

Complementing the tripod is the LH-30 Ball Head, a low-profile, high-precision head featuring a 30mm ball, screw-knob clamp, and laser-engraved panoramic base for smooth, controlled movements. Despite weighing just 310g, it supports up to 15kg, with an ergonomic locking knob for quick adjustments. The BPL-50 quick-release plate ensures secure, fast camera mounting, while additional UNC 1/4" mounting points allow you to attach accessories like a smartphone or magic arm.

COURIERS


We use DPD , RoyalMail, TNT  and UPS courier services for all our orders whether dispatching to the UK or International. As soon as your order has been dispatched you will receive an email with your unique tracking number.

IN-STORE ITEMS

These are items that we have in-stock and will be sent out for delivery as soon as possible. We aim to dispatch all orders within 1-2 working days, but during busy periods dispatch may be delayed by a day or so. If you would like to purchase the item in person then please call ahead to arrange an appointment: 01803 611 895.

PRE-ORDER ITEMS

These are usually items that are going to be out-of-stock for a number of weeks or are in short supply. By purchasing a Pre-Order Item you are in effect paying a deposit for your goods. As soon as the item is back in stock yours will be dispatched within 24 hours where possible. Please see individual product pages for current back-in-stock dates. In rare occasions, these dates can be changed by the manufacturers so we recommend staying in contact with Optics Warehouse depending on the product lead time.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY & TAXES

In addition to the above information If your delivery address is outside of the UK you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Any such additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. You should note that customs policies vary widely from country to country. Optics Warehouse advises each customer to contact their local customs office for further information if they are in any way unsure of local duties or liabilities. Cross border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities which means some packages may be opened and re-sealed.
