Immersive Optics 5x30 Pro Mildot Prism Scope with MOA Adjustable Mounts
For the shooter who refuses to compromise, the Immersive Optics 5x30 Pro represents the absolute pinnacle of the range. What truly sets this "Pro" model apart is its combination of a 30mm objective lens and a larger 34mm tube, which together maximize light transmission and structural integrity. This model is specifically engineered with Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass to virtually eliminate color fringing and ensure a razor-sharp image from edge to edge. With a significantly longer 85mm eye relief, it’s the perfect choice for centrefire rifles or shooters who prefer a more traditional head position while still enjoying the "immersive" 3x wider field of view. Available at Optics Warehouse with either the Mildot or RAPID Chevron illuminated reticles, it offers the ultimate balance of high-end optical performance and a compact, fatigue-reducing footprint. - George
The 5x30 Pro prismatic riflescope from Immersive Optics offers a field of view that is far greater than other traditional rifle scopes, combined with exceptional levels of magnification to achieve improved situational awareness, and an incredibly long 85mm eye relief providing crystal clear observation capabilities and reducing the risk of scope bite - making it perfect for use with centrefire rifles.
The 5x30 Pro's prism-based optical system significantly reduces its footprint when mounted on a rifle compared to more traditional daytime riflescopes, eliminating the large objective lens and long housing without sacrificing any of the light gathering performance, leaving the magnification and field of view unimpeded. Its reduced size enables better weight distribution between scope and rifle for more comfortable, high accuracy shooting, and allowing for long periods of observation in which the shooter will experience no fatigue.
Fitted with Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass, the 5×30 Pro maintains natural colour reproduction within the field of view, with minimal colour aberration - resulting in high clarity, crystal clear observation, even at extreme distances.
The 5x30 Pro, along with all other Immersive Optics riflescopes, is CNC machined to guarantee zero-errors; features a nitrogen-filled optical channel for anti-fogging; and is water sealed for protection against moisture. An innovative lens cap retention system allows the user to clip the lens cap securely to the side of the riflescope, doing away with any distractions whilst shooting.
Available with either Mildot or Mildot Rapid glass-etched, illuminated reticle, high precision windage and elevation controls (with no parallax). The scope will mount easily on the MOA adjustable mount provided.

- Immersive Optics 5x30 Pro Mildot Prism Scope with MOA Adjustable Mounts.
1. What makes Immersive Optics prismatic scopes different from traditional rifle scopes?
Traditional rifle scopes use a series of lenses to transmit light, which results in a long, heavy tube. Immersive Optics uses a prism-based optical system, which allows the scope to be significantly shorter and lighter. The primary advantage is an "immersive" viewing experience—the image appears to surround your eye rather than looking through a distant tube—and a field of view that can be up to 4x wider than a conventional optic at the same magnification.
2. Why do Immersive Optics scopes have such short eye relief?
The short eye relief (often between 15mm and 45mm) is a deliberate design choice to maximize the Field of View (FOV). By placing your eye closer to the ocular lens, you get a much larger picture of the landscape, which is critical for rapid target acquisition. Because of this "zero eye relief" design, these scopes are specifically optimized for low-recoil rifles like airguns (PCP and springers) and rimfire rifles (like .22 LR).
3. Are Immersive Optics scopes suitable for high-recoil centerfire rifles?
Generally, no. Because the eye relief is very short, the recoil of a high-power centerfire rifle could cause the scope to strike the shooter's eye (often called "scope eye"). However, the Immersive Optics 5x30 Pro model offers an extended 85mm eye relief, making it a safer and highly effective option for medium-recoil calibers like .223 or .243 Win.
4. Can I use Immersive Optics for close-range pest control and HFT?
Yes, they are ideal for these applications. One of the standout features of Immersive Optics is their short minimum focus distance (as low as 6 meters). This makes them perfect for Hunter Field Target (HFT) and close-range pest control where traditional scopes often struggle to maintain a sharp focus. The wide FOV also helps you keep moving targets in sight more easily in dense environments.
5. Do Immersive Optics scopes come with mounts included?
Yes, most Immersive Optics models come as a complete package including MOA adjustable mounts. Since prismatic scopes sit lower than traditional optics, these dedicated mounts are designed to provide the correct height and alignment for your rail. The inclusion of multiple base options (often including both Picatinny and sometimes Dovetail adapters) ensures you can fit the scope to your rifle straight out of the box.
