The HIKMICRO NEOS range uses a compact, traditional rifle scope-style platform with a 30mm tube mounting system, AMOLED display, Image Pro 3.0 processing, Zoom Pro and HSIS shutterless image technology. The main differences are sensor resolution, lens size, detection range and whether the model includes a laser rangefinder and ballistic calculation.

Sensor Resolution

The NE25 uses a 256 × 192 thermal sensor, making it the entry point into the NEOS range. The NH25L steps up to a 320 × 240 sensor, giving better image detail while keeping the same compact 25mm lens format. The NH35L moves up again to a 384 × 288 sensor, making it the strongest image performer of the three.

Lens Size and Detection Range

The NE25 and NH25L both use a 25mm F1.0 lens and both have a 1200m detection range. These models are well suited to closer to medium-range work, including air rifle shooting, rimfire use, farmyard pest control and rabbits.

The NH35L uses a larger 35mm F1.0 lens and increases detection range to 1800m. That makes it better suited to larger permissions, open fields, foxing and shooters who want stronger long-range performance.

Laser Rangefinder and Ballistic Calculation

The NE25 does not include an integrated laser rangefinder or ballistic calculation. This keeps it simple, light and gives it the longest runtime. The NH25L and NH35L both include a 1000m laser rangefinder with ±1m accuracy, plus ballistic calculation, making them more complete tools for night shooting.

Weight and Battery Life

The NE25 is the lightest model at 540g and has the longest listed runtime at 9.5 hours. The NH25L weighs 550g and offers 9 hours of runtime, while the NH35L weighs 570g and offers 8 hours. All three are compact, but the NE25 is the simplest and lightest, while the NH35L delivers the most performance.

Choose the NE25 if...

You want the lightest, simplest and most straightforward NEOS thermal rifle scope. It is ideal if you shoot at sensible distances, do not need a built-in laser rangefinder and want maximum runtime with minimal complexity.

Choose the NH25L if...

You want the best balance of size, features and usability. The NH25L adds a better sensor, laser rangefinder and ballistic calculation while keeping the compact 25mm platform. For many air rifle, rimfire and general pest-control shooters, this will be the most practical choice.

Choose the NH35L if...

You want the strongest performance in the range. The NH35L gives you the highest resolution, longest detection range and larger objective lens, making it the best option for foxing, centrefire use and larger permissions.
