PRODUCT REVIEW: Zero Compromise 5-27x56 FFP Tremor 3 - Accuracy International System Integration

By Tactical Shooting Solutions

Zero Compromise 5-27x56 FFP Tremor 3My first impression from not actually seeing or using the ZCO before was it looked and felt extremely well made and thought out in relation to turret height, the feel of adjustment and locking features, all a major need for the mil sniper.

The rear fast focus has a neat lock which others don’t. In and out of drag bags always seem to alter this without you knowing so being able to lock it would mean not spending extra time adjusting the reticle.

36mm tube. There is a noticeable difference in the scope clarity when shooting at further distances. We had the scope out to approx 1700m with the .50 cal and it was a delight to use. Normally at this range, you are struggling to get perfect sight clarity and often shots are missed or failure to pick up fall of shot is present.

Magnification adjustment has a larger grip area which was good whilst wearing gloves in the -5C conditions we had. The adjustment is smooth throughout its entire range, the competitor scope we had tightened slightly at approx x16.

Parallax goes down to 25m which is a great feature.

The position sensor is something I have not seen before. Another great feature, I can count so many times I have left my reticle switched on and ran the batteries down, quite a big problem on operations!

Adjustment increments are clearly marked and I like how the windage turret is still available for use even with the T3 reticle. Many scope manufacturers are closing it off with a cover, extremely inconvenient and always leads to the cover being lost as most controlled shots at long range are taken with elevation and windage dialled on. If the turret locks well then what’s the point to cover it up.

A tracking test was carried out and it worked as intended with the accuracy of the rifle. Throughout the full range for both elevation and windage, clean clicks and easy-to-use turret and locking aids in being able to use the scope without looking at it.

Light transmission is great and clearly matches other scopes, sadly last light testing or comparison could not be achieved.

The ZCO it approx 270g heavier than the Mark 5 HD which shouldn’t pose too much of a problem.

Overall I would certainly recommend this scope!
