FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION(S)

1. What is this riser used for?

It’s used to raise optics like red dots or small reflex sights so they sit at a more comfortable height on a Picatinny rail.

2. Why would I need a 3-slot riser?

A 3-slot design gives just enough length for most compact optics while keeping the setup lightweight and low-profile.

3. What does “quick detach” mean?

It means the riser uses a QD lever system, so you can attach or remove it from your rifle without tools in a few seconds.

4. Will it hold zero after removing it?

It’s designed to be repeatable, but like most QD risers, you’ll get the best consistency if you reattach it in the same position on the rail.

5. What material is it made from?

It’s typically machined from aluminium alloy, making it strong enough for recoil while still staying lightweight.

6. What optics will it fit?

It works with most Picatinny-mounted red dots and compact optics, including common micro reflex sights.

7. Does it work on any rifle?

Yes, as long as the rifle has a standard Picatinny or Weaver rail, it should mount without issues.

8. Is it suitable for magnified scopes?

Not really — it’s mainly intended for red dots and low-profile optics, not full-size rifle scopes.

9. Does it add much weight?

No, it’s very light, and most shooters won’t notice any change in balance on the rifle.

10. Why choose a QD riser instead of a fixed one?

The main advantage is flexibility — you can remove or swap optics quickly while keeping a consistent mounting setup without needing tools.
