Zero Settings/Parameters Disappearing from Menu

Most likely this has happened following an update on the unit. Depending on how large the update was, this can remove saved settings on the unit. We always advise writing down all zero settings from the unit before going through an update or restore.
Troubleshooting step 1
If using 1st Gen Alpex, accidental button press of the menu button is very likely when the weapon is over the user's back. This is due to the menu button being on the side of the unit.
Troubleshooting step 2
Has the unit been updated but not restored? If so, advise the end user to restore the unit — not restoring any Hikmicro units can cause conflicts between previous and new firmware versions.
Troubleshooting step 3
How old is the firmware on the unit? If the firmware is outdated, there could potentially be bugs with that version. Connect the unit to the Sight App and update to the newest firmware, ensuring a restore is completed afterwards.
