The HIKMICRO Thunder 2.0 TQ50C Thermal Front Clip On brings the performance of HIKMICRO’s second-generation Thunder platform into a versatile, high-spec attachment engineered for serious field use. Designed to mount seamlessly in front of your existing day scope or operate as a handheld viewer, it delivers ultra-sharp thermal imaging with exceptional detail recognition, even in challenging weather and low-contrast environments. At the heart of the unit is a powerful 640×512 VOx thermal sensor paired with an NETD of ≤20 mK, ensuring the Thunder 2.0 captures even the smallest temperature differences with impressive clarity.
A major advancement over previous models is the improved ergonomics and usability. The new focus-knob design replaces the traditional focus ring, allowing smooth, precise focusing with minimal hand movement. The brand-new user interface and quick-access menu make navigation fast and intuitive, while personalised brightness and sound adjustments help tailor the viewing experience to your preferences. With five configurable weapon profiles, the TQ50C 2.0 can be easily adapted for use across multiple rifles without constant re-zeroing.
Constructed from a durable magnesium alloy housing, the Thunder 2.0 offers long-term resilience with a lightweight feel and exceptional balance. The build quality supports IP67 waterproofing and high shock resistance up to 8,000 joules, making it suitable for demanding outdoor use. Image performance is further enhanced by a high-resolution 1024×768 OLED display, smooth 50 Hz frame rate, and improved image processing drawn from the acclaimed Falcon series detectors. Together, these features provide clearer motion tracking, sharper definition, and more accurate target identification.
With a detection range of up to 2600 metres, four colour palettes, picture-in-picture mode, hot-spot tracking, and intelligent recoil-activated video recording, the TQ50C 2.0 is engineered for both precision and practicality. Its replaceable high-capacity battery system offers long operating times, with the ability to charge either inside the unit or via the supplied charging station. Wi-Fi connectivity and app support also allow live video transmission and easy media management on the go.

We use DPD , RoyalMail, TNT and UPS courier services for all our orders whether dispatching to the UK or International. As soon as your order has been dispatched you will receive an email with your unique tracking number.
IN-STORE ITEMS
These are items that we have in-stock and will be sent out for delivery as soon as possible. We aim to dispatch all orders within 1-2 working days, but during busy periods dispatch may be delayed by a day or so. PRE-ORDER ITEMS
These are usually items that are going to be out-of-stock for a number of weeks or are in short supply. By purchasing a Pre-Order Item you are in effect paying a deposit for your goods. As soon as the item is back in stock yours will be dispatched within 24 hours where possible. Please see individual product pages for current back-in-stock dates. In rare occasions, these dates can be changed by the manufacturers so we recommend staying in contact with Optics Warehouse depending on the product lead time.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY & TAXES
In addition to the above information If your delivery address is outside of the UK you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Any such additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. You should note that customs policies vary widely from country to country. Optics Warehouse advises each customer to contact their local customs office for further information if they are in any way unsure of local duties or liabilities. Cross border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities which means some packages may be opened and re-sealed.
