The Best Benchrest Shooter of the City of Novi Sad

Based in Novi Sad, Serbia, Miodrag Jankov dedicated 2022 to his passion. After entering as many competitions as possible, Miodrag rounded the year with multiple accolades.

The 'Balkan Airguns Shooting Challenge' organisers commented: “The Balkan Airguns Shooting Challenge is the largest airgun shooting event in the Western Balkans and was held seven times in Serbia in 2022, including the final.

It contains nine disciplines divided into league and tournament. The disciplines of the league are three benchrest disciplines that are shot at 25 and 50 meters.  The other disciplines are of a tournament nature and are shot at distances of 50, 100 and 150 meters in benchrest, extreme benchrest targets and metal gongs.

There were several competitors who achieved notable results. Among them, the competitor Miodrag Jankov stands out, who won several medals and in the end won first place in the benchrest league.”

Not only did Miodrag bring home multiple medals from the Balkan Airguns Shooting Challenge but the Shooting Association of the city of Novi Sad recognised the successes of Mr. Jankov and declared him the best benchrest shooter of the city of Novi Sad for 2022.

Miodrag commented: “My favourite recognition is from the Shooting Association of the city of Novi Sad as the best Bench Rest shooter for the year 2022, me as an amateur and I found myself at the awards ceremony with professional shooters from our country.”
