The Pulsar Trail 3 XR50 Compact Thermal Rifle Scope with LRF represents Pulsar’s next generation of compact, professional-grade thermal riflescopes, delivering exceptional performance in a remarkably streamlined package. Built around a 640×480, 12µm thermal sensor with <18mK sNETD, it reveals the finest heat detail with ease, even in dense vegetation and challenging terrain. Paired with a 50 mm f1.0 germanium objective lens, the Trail 3 XR50 offers confident target detection at distances of up to 2200 metres, making it ideally suited to open ground and long-range applications.

Thermal imagery is displayed on a Full-HD 1920×1080 AMOLED display, producing sharp, high-contrast visuals in all conditions. Thanks to its ultra-low thermal sensitivity, the image remains clear and detailed in fog, rain, high humidity and fluctuating temperatures. A built-in proximity sensor automatically switches the display off when lowered, preventing light spill in the field while extending battery life during prolonged sessions.

For enhanced shot confidence, the Trail 3 XR50 features a built-in laser rangefinder accurate to ±1 metre out to 1200 metres. This provides instant distance data and seamlessly integrates with the Stream Vision Ballistics app, enabling precise ballistic corrections and suggested points of aim. Ammunition profiles can be stored and transferred between rifles, significantly reducing setup time when changing platforms.

Precision is further improved through Picture-in-Picture mode, which presents a dedicated magnified aiming window while preserving full situational awareness. Combined with the 3–24× magnification range, this allows accurate shot placement without sacrificing field context. The riflescope also includes nine selectable colour palettes, allowing the image to be tailored for detection, identification or long-duration observation, including a green palette designed to reduce eye fatigue during extended use.

Designed for professional and demanding users, the Trail 3 XR50 is housed in a rugged magnesium alloy body with an IP67 protection rating, ensuring reliable operation in heavy rain, snow and extreme temperatures from -25 to +55°C. Its robust monoblock construction is recoil-rated up to 6000 joules, making it suitable for high-calibre rifles, while ambidextrous controls ensure comfortable use for both left- and right-handed shooters.

Power is supplied by a replaceable LPS7i rechargeable battery, delivering up to 10 hours of continuous operation. The quick-release battery design allows fast, hassle-free changes in low-light conditions, ensuring uninterrupted observation when it matters most. Built-in video recording with audio and still image capture stores content directly to 64 GB of internal memory, or wirelessly to the Stream Vision 2 app, where footage can be viewed, shared and managed alongside remote firmware updates and live device control.

We use DPD , RoyalMail, TNT and UPS courier services for all our orders whether dispatching to the UK or International. As soon as your order has been dispatched you will receive an email with your unique tracking number. We are unable to add delivery notes to your order regarding safe spaces or neighbour deliveries. If you require this service it can be arranged directly with the courier once the parcel is in their network.

IN-STORE ITEMS

These are items that we have in-stock and will be sent out for delivery as soon as possible. We aim to dispatch all orders within 1-2 working days, but during busy periods dispatch may be delayed by a day or so. These are usually items that are going to be out-of-stock for a number of weeks or are in short supply. By purchasing a Pre-Order Item you are in effect paying a deposit for your goods. In addition to the above information If your delivery address is outside of the UK you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Any such additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. You should note that customs policies vary widely from country to country. Cross border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities which means some packages may be opened and re-sealed.
