Pulsar Trail XP50 Thermal Weapon Scope 640×480 17µm

The Pulsar Trail XP50 Thermal Weapon Scope has been designed for use on hunting rifles both in the nighttime and in the daylight in inclement weather conditions (fog, smog, rain) to see through obstacles hindering detection of targets (branches, tallgrass, thick bushes etc.). Unlike the image intensifier tube based night vision riflescopes, thermal imaging sights do not require an external source of light and are not affected by bright light exposure. The TRAIL sights have a wide range of applications including night hunting, observation and terrain orientation, search and rescue operations.

The Pulsar Trail XP50 Thermal Weapon Scope features built-in video recorder, protection against water exposure during short-term submersion, external power supply and is both frost and impact resistant.

I have had this scope since the middle of October this year. Is four and a half grand a lot of money for a thermal scope.? yes. but worth every penny!.
I shoot at least three times a week at night here on the farm for foxes and this scope ceases to amaze me. I have had pretty much every night vision IR scope and nothing comes close. The clarity , ease of use. It really is a joy to look through . It sits on my tikka t3x .308 and has never missed a beat. I struggled to justify spending that amount of money but having owned it for a couple of months I would recommend it to anyone serious above night shooting.
Negatives if there are any: silly little rubber cap that covers a usb port comes open all the time. picture refresh now and then freezes the picture for about one second but no big deal. my advice. buy it and enter a totally different night shooting experience. utterly unbelievable odds stacked in your favour shot after shot.
